2 Personal data

 

The use of the “Friends of Particle Therapy” website - as far as legally permissible - is possible without providing personal data. However, as part of the donation process, we must disclose personal data to the tax office, in particular information about your identity, first and last name, date of birth, as otherwise the tax deductibility of the donation is not possible.

3 Disclosure, purpose and legal basis of processing

3.1 The personal data of donors is processed exclusively for the purpose of transmitting this data to the tax office.

3.2 Members' data is processed internally for the purpose of recording and managing membership. This includes in particular:

• Collection and management: We collect and manage your personal data in order to correctly document and manage your membership.
   

• Invitation and Newsletter: We use your data to invite you to events (networks) and to send you newsletters. The purpose of this communication is to keep you informed about our activities and events and to offer you the opportunity to network.

3.3  We do not intend to use your personal data for purposes other than those listed above. Should we wish to use your data for other purposes, we will first obtain your express consent to do so.

3.4 The legal basis for the processing activities is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and c GDPR, as it is necessary to fulfill legal obligations.

4 Technical implementation and security of your data

We take appropriate technical measures to ensure data protection and confidentiality. The data provided by you will be stored in a specially secured database of iQuantis s.r.o.. All data stored in the database is encrypted by iQuantis s.r.o according to the current state of the art.

5 Use of the website     
   

5.1 You can access and use our website without making a donation.

5.2 When you visit our website, your browser automatically transmits the IP address of your computer to our server; this is necessary so that our website can be retrieved from our server and displayed in your browser. Depending on the configuration of your browser, further data (e.g. browser type, browser version, operating system used, referrer URL) may be transmitted.

5.3 This data, which is only collected when you access the website, is processed exclusively for technical purposes, namely to ensure a smooth (technical) connection between your browser and our server (pure page loading) and to enable you to use our website in the first place. The legal basis for this data processing is our legitimate interest in having a website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The processing is necessary so that we can make the website available for you to use. Without this data, we cannot operate this website and you cannot access our website. We do not store the data permanently, nor do we read it out or process it for any other purpose.

8.4 If you have asserted the right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing against us, we are obliged to notify all recipients to whom we have disclosed the personal data concerning you of this rectification or erasure of the data or restriction of processing, unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. 8.5 We would like to point out that after any deletion of your personal data, it can no longer be guaranteed that your donation will remain tax deductible, as the data can no longer be forwarded to the tax office.
