An Enchanted Afternoon

Laughter is the best medicine – and sometimes it feels like pure magic. That is exactly what our youngest patients at MedAustron recently experienced.

Together with the Ronald McDonald House Wiener Neustadt, the MedAustron Patient Care Coordinator team organized a very special afternoon full of wonder, joy, and unforgettable moments. Magician Gregory delighted the children with his astonishing tricks, plenty of humor, and lots of magical surprises.

One particular moment caused especially wide eyes: a white dog suddenly transformed—by magic—into a Dalmatian with black spots! The excitement was huge.

But that was not all: as a grand finale, Gregory conjured up sweets from his magic drawer and created a personalized balloon for each child – a small keepsake with a big impact.

There were also culinary delights to keep spirits high: with mini pizzas, fresh vegetable sticks, and filled chocolate footballs – in keeping with the Football World Cup – we rounded off the afternoon in a relaxed atmosphere.

This special event once again showed us: even if we speak different languages, we still understand each other without words. Because laughter is a universal language that brings people together.
